Enough. You came to read About Something Random, Didn't You?

As of right now, I'm all about chinchillas, crazy and insane for cute baby chinchillas! Kay....I'm over it. SO, that's not much of a post.

I just saw Wierd Al Yankovic in Albuquerque yesterday with my friend. It was amazing! Lots of flashy lights and a conffeti streamer explosion. I had to wear an earplug though due to we were sitting very close to the stage. Well, in the middle, but it was close compared to how I would be in a giant concert hall thing versus the very small one we were at.

We are now refering to ourselves in plural first person! What joy! Oh me OH my. I have started watching Daria (90's show, yay). It is the most hilarious thing ever. I hereby declare 90's the golden age of live television.

Right. Three or so major topics of my day. Or, you know, past week or so. Or so, Or so, Or so. Suppose tha's enough. Buh-bye.

"Back to back to back, my baby..."

...cuz I have those lyrics stuck in my head. Prepare your socks for an (ish) post!

1) say hello to ma leetle friend. His name is Johnny Boy!

2) Woo! There are only 24 days left until I officialy graduate! (from middle school). I need to do  something completly and utterly amazingly awsome on the last day. *anticipating the days going by* The fun thing about today  is the date is 4/24 (24th, the same number of days left.)

3) I plan to draw this in cha-alk. My Uncle has bought his store and is renovating. It will probably hopefuly be finished before the summer is over. So I'll give him the final version if he wants it.

Close up on kid's face, wolf shadow
There's a wolf at my front door
on a new note, I really should finish that drawing of Pete. The neighbors haven't asked, but I haven't worked on it in four evers. (Ever, ever, ever, ever)

See, Social Studies can be fun!

Wow, that title seems so dorky. But it does make my point (maybe a little too much). So maybe you're expecting something really awsome happened in class like a tarantula got in and my teacher picked it up and decided to keep it as a class pet. Well, it did! No, just kidding. I wish!
Actually, we're just doing a project on the Industrial Revolution - make a comic or write a story about it (2 pages). I got to write the story and draw pictures. (yay!) Story's half done and here's some of the pictures I'll be using. Bear in mind, humans are not my specailty. I might share the actual story later, when I finish. It'll be like 5 pages.
This is Virginia Brierly and her rooster, Canterbury.
This is not the turantula from my not story.

This is Virginis in an oversized mill girl uniform holding a bobbin.
And here she is being sucked into a water frame machine.
(this is the fun part because my teacher loves blood/gore horror movies!

Finally, I almost finshed 2 drawings that I
might or might not use of other characters.

Smitherines!

This post will be very similar to a broken pencil: pointless. hardyharhar.

I was decorating my dollhouse. I don't play in it, but I like to rearrange the rooms time to time so it's something to look at. Anyway, I had one of the little beds on the ground and I was trying to take beads to the walls of a "bedroom". Our tape despencers are idiotic for not being able to actually preform the one funtion they're designed to do, so I threw it and stood up to get a new one. I barely tripped and kicked the bed. I ended up with a bruised middle toe and eight pieces of bed (9, with the "matress".) That is, smitherines. It was too hard to glue together, so I went to Hobby Lobby to get a new one (along with some other stuff).

What I learned today is Hobby Lobby is overated. You know what I found?  (course you don't). Nothing that resembls a bed  for under, like, $50! No-ho. Anything they had was brain-damaged (which is impossible for inanimate objects anyway) and overpriced. I did get one thing I actually set out to get: half inch tall books with actual pages! Suprise! Is it wierder that I wanted them, or that I actually found them?

Heh. Bet you were not thinkin' what does this post have to do with art. Bet chu are now. Despite what chure thinkin', I'll tell you. I colored the tiny books' covers. Yessiree. Youbetchabob. And thaaaaaat counts!

I'd show you my mini- books but I''m too lazy to get some pictures of em. They're waaaay over theeeeeer. *can't reach 5 feet*
observe that freaky brown mole-thing. That, me amigo-pie, is what a toe-bruise looks like.

Not Much

Heh. Well,  there's not really anything new that's interesting going on. I got a cool panda watch that blinks different colors. People who know me know that. Got some crazy socks. I'm in a sewing group thing after school  and I finaly remembered to go for once. I started making a truly terrible pet bed for a shelter. I'm such a lousy sewer, I don't think they'll actually accept it. Oh well, my own doggy doesn't mind sleeping on a pile of shredded fabric.

I'm the Hatter, this is the March Hare and Dormouse. Won't you have some tea?

There's an art exhibit in the Summer. This might be one of my entries. It's inspired by a doodle of the Mad Hatter I saw online somewhere (though my Hatter is an orginal). P.S. no, it's not finished.
This isn't the full picture, just a preview!

Oh My Eyebrows!

Sorry, I've already posted 3 today. But this came to mind. Eyebrows. Like...what? I know they keep sweat out of our eyes and we have them for "evolutionary purposes" (sorry Christains). But, really, don't they look so wierd. Does anyone else actually pay attention to other people's brows? I mean like, it's random face hair. And the shape of some people's- strange. But I'm a bit OCD about things like  that. So I apologize for my mini-rant. There shall be more in the future but I shall try to refrain from venturing into the more pointless topics.

Look What I Can Do! 8)

This is the pooch himself (in photo form)
My neighbor was walking his little rat terrier mix pup and he stopped to talk to my dad about his beat up house (see, he'd just moved in.) I had just completed the chalk drawing of the dog in the background and I showed it to him. He thought it was HIS dog, Pete. This bothered me astoundingly due to the fact that the dogs look nothing alike and aren't even similar breeds. I offered to draw PETE for him if he would bring by a picture. So he did. So I did. Well, I'm in the process.

A practice sketch
a gruely  pen sketch

Here's an incomplete official drawing: (the camera didn't capture it very well) I'll color it probably

First Post Ever! (seriously, how common is this title?)

Woo! I finally have a blog to call my own! I've been trying to find a good sight that's simple and customizable, and guess what.

So, what should you expect to come from this? Well, it is art(ish), so obviously, I'll be posting pictures of the pieces I am working on or have recently done. The "ish" part is for the fact that I am not the most focused person I know. Posts may range from the weather (so not) to dinasaurs and chupacabras. And such and such.

"I draw, therefor, I am."
