It's Only Quirky if You're Young

A quick google search of "quirky clothes" will deliver to you many images of people who are 1) actually dressed in trendy apparel, and 2) in their twenties.

A video by YouTube personality Colleen Ballinger primed me to pay attention to this topic. Her video describes how she has always worn cat clothes, and it is just one of the quirky things she did.  But in the future, when she continues to wear cat fashion, she will just be a crazy old cat lady. A point of her video was she loves cats and cats on her shirts.

But you get what my point is, right?

If you're young and cute you can be who you want and do all this crap and people just think it's because you're young.

but at some point, some age, you stop being "cute" and make a overnight transformation into a horrible flabby skin-bag with no fashion sense and oatmeal for brains- probably about when you turn thirty. and you start getting seriously judged for all the cute crap you used to do. At least, that is what some common idea amongst the masses says.

I actually don't know. I haven't been there. I'm sure as hell on my way- But I'm not quirky- I don't fit the physical image of it. I'm probably already to that point where people think i'm batcrap crazypants because I don't give a dang what people think of me. we'll see what happens when I get older.
